Concerned with Oklahoma City's disjointed system of care for the homeless, a group of community volunteers founded Homeless Has A Name. One of the initial endeavours of Homeless Has A Name, following its founding with a solitary employee in a rented office situated in the Capitol Hill district of Oklahoma City, involved calling meetings for the directors of the area's overnight shelters. After that, Homeless Has A Name carried out an evaluation of the community's needs to find any service gaps and got to work filling them. The group then created a software program to monitor information around the neighborhood in order to tackle homelessness from a more calculated angle.
